After bringing the boat out of storage for winter, our first sail for the season was on Labour weekend. We left Half Moon bay around 12pm, sails up at the mouth of the estuary.

Farr 5000 and Farr 6000 Championships 2011

The annual Farr 5000 and Farr 6000 chamionships will be held next year on the 5th and 6th of March at Lyttleton. The organising authority is Naval Point Club Lyttleton who will be running our championships as part of the South Island trailer yacht championships

Lake Rotoiti Nelson Lakes National Park

Lake Rotoiti is a deep mountain lake of glacial origin. It is roughly heart shaped, about 8 km long and 3 km wide at its northern end. The lake is surrounded by steep mountains covered in beech forest.
